Several special fabrics commonly used in antistatic clothing

There are many kinds of Antistatic Fabrics, which can be summarized into three types:
The first is to use antistatic agent to pick up the resin of the fabric, and adhere to the surface of synthetic fiber fabric after immersion, melting and drying, so that the fabric has a certain antistatic effect. This method is now only used in civilian clothing to defeat the electrostatic phenomena such as clothes discharge, pollution and dust absorption.
The second is to add antistatic agents, such as sulfonates and other surfactants, or introduce a third monomer into the polyester or brocade polymer to obtain durable antistatic fibers. Since most of the added antistatic agents will react into decomposed surfactants in case of alkali, alkaline detergent shall not be used when picking up or washing the fabric to prevent affecting the antistatic effect. In this way, the fiber is suitable for making dust-free clothes, sterile clothes and civil clothes.
The third is to mix conductive fibers into ordinary fabrics. Since this antistatic fabric is not affected by the address environment, it has been widely accepted and recognized. According to the antistatic function of this antistatic fabric, the type of conductive fibers and the distribution of conductive components in the fibers, it can be divided into conductive components, conductive component masking type There are four types of conductive or composite type and conductive component mixed type. For example, if the masking conductive fiber is selected, it is especially penetrated by coating method. Because its conductive component is on the fiber surface, it is relatively simple to fall, which affects the antistatic function.
Among all conductive fibers, except stainless steel fibers, others can be directly used for monofilament or multifilament of fabrics. Stainless steel fiber has excellent electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, abrasion resistance and can reflect electromagnetic waves. It is widely used in petrochemical industry, electronics, electric power and military work, but the processing of stainless steel fiber on textile equipment is messy and affected to a certain extent. Other composite conductive fibers rich in conductive components such as carbon ink and graphite can be directly used for weaving filaments and warp yarns. Embedding a conductive wire at a certain distance (such as about 1.5cm) can obtain excellent antistatic effect. It was the best conductive fiber raw material for weaving Antistatic Fabrics at that time.
